Malawi

I will put up a few photo's now, just to give you a taste of what life is like in Malawi. with more stories and photo's of my trip in the coming days. The top photo is of my roommate while in Malawi. Mike. what an amazing man. This guy was used to advance the Kingdom in Malawi in such a significant way. It was unbelievable to end each day in Malawi listening to Mike share the most amazing stories of how God had moved that day as he counseled and prayed with couples, families and hurting individuals.
The second photo is me doing my best to wow the kids in Malawi with my amazing talent. (I had to prompt all the applause).

SALTphoto's

You asked for them!
Ok, maybe you didn't but I thought you would like them anyway. Two photo blogs I want to put up. this is all about the Easter Holiday SALT Nav conference in Jozi. Lots of peeps from all over southern Africa. It was a great time. and the drive down and back (7-8 hours each way) was a great way to connect and build deeper relationships with some of our key guys.
The highlight of the conference... when I sat down with 4 of the students from Durban and talked/challenged them to consider investing their lives for two years in Port Elizabeth with the Navs when they graduate. All 4 got excited, prayed, and are going to take a July survey trip of the campus there and to pray over the city as they decided if they will take the plunge! Pray with me as Sihle, Peleka, Nolwazi, and Gugu have been challenged with the command to "Go..."

There and back again...

Cheesy... but i feel a bit like a Hobbit adventurer. Needless to say, it was an experience going to the Ntchisi district in Malawi to conduct pastor/church/community leadership training on "the Kingdom of Jesus."
Myles is unpacking all the books on the book shelf, so this is all for the moment. Just wanted to say thanks for those who prayed for the trip! It was HUGE. Very emotional. Spiritual. and revealed to me a bit more of myself as I worked with Pastor Scott Countryman and the Berean team alongside World Relief Malawi.

Lots of peeps to talk about, blog about, pictures to show... but first let me go save my books!!
